The Idea

BanksMart Bank Supply sells products and services in Omaha, Nebraska. They needed an online store to provide an easy means of ordering for their current clients, as well as allowing them to easily sell to customers outside of the Omaha area.

The Solution

ByteHarvest had previously worked with BanksMart in 2007 to create CMS based website which was used to provide information about the company and a copy of the catalog in PDF format. The site was designed by Ben Harben.

In order to supply a customizable eCommerce solution that included Authorize.net payment gateway integration within a short timeframe, we decided to build the store on the Magento platform. Magento is open-source and customizable, and provided the features they needed.

The design of the original site was modified to work with Magento and extended to handle the product catalog.
